• Work closely alongside Subject Matter Experts to convert manual business operations into efficient, reliable technical specifications and agent-oriented architectures.
• Quickly prototype and implement comprehensive solutions utilizing Python and contemporary AI frameworks (LLM APIs, RAG patterns, and agentic SDKs), maintaining clear ownership throughout the entire process from discovery to production.
• Establish and uphold solid integrations between OnePay’s primary SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Workday, etc.) and tailored AI services, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Empower and instruct internal stakeholders, serving as a technical force multiplier to assist non-technical teams in adopting AI-first approaches and developing their own automated agents.
• Implement monitoring and safeguards to ensure all AI-powered workflows are secure, compliant, and resilient at scale—including appropriate management of PII, access control design, audit logging, and collaboration with Legal and Security review processes.
• Design and execute evaluation frameworks to verify agent accuracy, reliability, and regression behavior before and after production deployments.
• Facilitate structured discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify requirements, evaluate feasibility, and deliver clear technical scopes prior to any coding.
• Generate reusable playbooks, architecture decision records, and handoff documentation to enable the teams you collaborate with to maintain and enhance your creations.
• Over 5 years of professional engineering experience, demonstrating a successful history of delivering production code that users rely on daily.
• Practical expertise with modern AI tools, including substantial experience with LLM APIs, agent frameworks (LangGraph, Claude SDK), and developer productivity tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Understanding of LLM evaluation methods—encompassing prompt regression testing, human-in-the-loop reviews, and automated evaluation pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python (or TypeScript/Go equivalent), with the capability to write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code within a shared codebase.
• A "Product Mindset"—you don't merely resolve tickets; you actively identify friction points, design solutions, and can facilitate working sessions and present trade-offs effectively to various audiences, from individual contributors to senior leadership.
• Experience in systems integration, including a foundational knowledge of REST APIs, data pipelines (SQL), and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS).
• A proactive attitude—everyone here is a builder and executor; you are comfortable collaborating across organizational boundaries to achieve results.
• Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits starting from Day 1.
• 401(k) plan with company matching.
• Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for advancement.
• A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your contributions make a significant impact.
