This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Provectus stands as a leading AWS partner and an Anthropic Strategic Partner at the cutting edge of applied AI, assisting enterprises in transforming Claude, agentic systems, and their own data into quantifiable business results through tailored applications, managed services, and advisory engagements.
• Our focus is on two sectors — Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences — where we implement five pre-designed AI Blueprints: Submission Flow, Portfolio Lens, Asset Flow, Revenue Flow, and Evidence Lens. Each Blueprint reconstructs a crucial business process from beginning to end, delivered from functional code and customized to align with a client's specific portfolio, regulatory requirements, and operational posture.
• You will undertake the responsibilities. You will gain insights into the constraints from the inside, the ones that are often overlooked. Then, you will collaborate with that operator and a Forward Deployed Executive to reconstruct the function from foundational principles — and you will be the one to actualize it.
• You won’t commence from scratch. Provectus has developed industry blueprints — operational systems that have already been deployed for a client in your sector. Your engagement begins from that baseline, and what you observe in the field will contribute back into it. That feedback loop distinguishes an outcome from merely an invoice.
• More than 8 years of software development experience, with a significant portion dedicated to writing production code for which you were responsible. You are currently hands-on and plan to remain so.
• You will assume the operator’s role. You are genuinely prepared to spend weeks performing someone else’s job — such as claims processing, underwriting, or revenue-cycle work — before you write any code. Engineers who prefer to work solely in the IDE should not apply.
• You quickly grasp domains. You have demonstrated the capability to become familiar with an unfamiliar business function swiftly enough to engage in discussions with professionals who specialize in that area.
• You have delivered GenAI/LLM systems into production — not just demos or notebooks. You’ve tackled the challenging aspects that arise after the prototype is operational.
• You assess systems effectively. You have developed or managed an evaluation suite for a non-deterministic system and can articulate what you measured and why.
• You possess strong engineering fundamentals — when placed in an unfamiliar codebase or language, you become productive. Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript is essential; depth of knowledge is more important than the specific technology stack.
• Experience with cloud-native delivery on AWS (GCP/Azure is a plus): including containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, CI/CD, and understanding the operational realities of a system that will be maintained by others.
• You are credible with senior stakeholders — capable of engaging in redesign discussions with a business unit head and scoping conversations with a CTO without losing the attention of either party.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and take ownership. Projects often start with vague specifications by design. Closing that gap is part of your role.
• You have solid foundations in AI/ML — you are knowledgeable enough about the models to assess their failure modes, not just to call the API.
• Extensive hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Engage in pioneering delivery work across Cowork Activation, Agentic SDLC, and Blueprint Activations in Financial Services and Healthcare.
• Opportunity to influence how leading enterprises implement AI, from strategic planning through initial deployment.
• A forward-deployed approach working in small senior teams alongside Principal Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Be part of a growing AI delivery practice where you contribute to building the tools and frameworks, not just utilizing them.
• Enjoy a remote-friendly culture.
