Forward Deployed AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• The Forward Deployed AI Engineer will collaborate closely with clients and senior engineers to develop AI-driven systems within actual enterprise environments.

• Comprehend operational workflows and transform them into technical documents.

• Establish connections to authentic enterprise systems and data sources.

• Create context-aware AI agents, retrieval systems, and automation prototypes.

• Assist in advancing the most effective prototypes towards dependable production deployments.

• Aid in ingesting, cleaning, structuring, and linking data from enterprise systems into a context graph.

• Construct AI pipelines and agent-based systems capable of reasoning over enterprise contexts, identifying patterns, revealing workflow gaps, and suggesting or initiating automations.

• Integrate with client infrastructure, including databases, APIs, cloud storage, document repositories, analytics tools, ticketing systems, and internal applications.

• Swiftly develop proof-of-concept demonstrations that illustrate how AI can enhance a client's operations.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to translate unclear operational challenges into technical designs, data models, prompts, pipelines, and deployed applications.

• Contribute to the development of robust, maintainable systems that can operate in production environments, including client cloud environments when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundational knowledge of Python.

• Basic experience in backend development.

• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and cloud services.

• Interest in LLMs, agents, retrieval, structured outputs, and tool-calling.

• Understanding of data pipelines and complex real-world datasets.

• Experience with FastAPI, LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, document processing, or knowledge graphs is advantageous.

• AWS experience is a plus.

• Experience with enterprise data, analytics, or workflow automation is highly desirable.
