This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Perform site evaluations to identify the cause, origin, and scale of structural damage
• Create clear and well-supported conclusions while producing high-quality technical documentation
• Deliver timely and professional updates to clients, contractors, and internal team members
• Operate independently while utilizing internal experts and available resources
• Navigate issues to resolution with stakeholders, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed expectations
• Offer suggestions that enhance processes, tools, and customer results
• More than 1 year of experience in forensic engineering is preferred
• Strong technical writing abilities are essential
• Effective verbal communication skills are necessary
• Proficient in using computers, phones, cameras, and other related technology
• Experience as an Expert Witness is preferred
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or restrictions
• A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Michigan is required, or eligibility by reciprocity
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required
• A Master of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred
