• Guidehouse is currently in search of financial management experts to support our client within the Department of Defense.
• Offer expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), as well as DoD financial management policies and organizational structures.
• Provide services related to financial audit statements and audit readiness.
• Assist in the strategy, execution, oversight, and reporting of the DoW financial statement audit remediation and sustainment, along with the audit infrastructure.
• Collaborate on Enterprise Audit Remediation/Sustainment Strategy, Oversight and Reporting support, which includes Audit Remediation/Sustainment Strategy, Governance Meeting Support – Content Development, and Governance Communication – Content Development.
• Perform Recurring FIAR Reporting.
• Candidates must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; approved adjudication of clearance is required prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in financial management, including support for government clients in areas such as audit/audit readiness, audit remediation, internal controls over financial reporting, and process improvement, in line with DoW financial management policies and procedures.
• An advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration is preferred.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to swiftly synthesize information, acquire new skills, and apply various solutions to business and financial management challenges.
• One or more professional certifications are highly preferred, such as CPA, CIA, PMP, CGFM, and/or CDFM.
