Fleet Technical Specialist – Flying Doc

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Execute both on-site and remote interventions to assist dealers, authorized workshops, and technical centers throughout Europe, aiming to minimize vehicle downtime and backlogs.

• Diagnose and address complex technical issues on customer vehicles, including advanced electrical/electronic challenges and multiplexing faults.

• Examine problems affecting individual vehicles as well as systematic fault trends impacting multiple vehicles; implement immediate containment actions and corrective solutions.

• Utilize OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., wiTECH POD, DiagBOX VCI) for guided diagnostics, software updates, reprogramming, and parameter adjustments.

• Manage individual cases along with cross-cutting technical issues affecting entire fleets.

• Generate clear technical reports and case updates.

• Mentor technicians and offer practical guidance.

• Contribute recurring issues to continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in vehicle diagnostics, technical support, workshop, or field service.

• Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot intricate electrical/electronic faults.

• Hands-on experience with OEM diagnostic tools.

• Proficient in utilizing wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

• Experience in collaborating with workshops, engineering, or technical teams.

• Ability to support and mentor technicians effectively.

• Preferred qualifications include field service or multi-site support experience, multi-brand expertise, and a background in technical support for an OEM/importer.

• Strong written and spoken English skills are required.

• Additional European languages are considered advantageous.
