Fiscal & Business Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Support the HII Director, Faculty, and Staff in the financial and overall administration of the Health Informatics Institute (HII)

• Conduct financial analysis and create projections

• Oversee budget management

• Manage fiscal resources for the institute

• Direct the daily operations of the HII

• Generate cash balance reports for Auxiliary funds

• Develop budget forecasts and annual budgets

• Ensure adherence to statutes, regulations, and accounting standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field pertinent to the role's specific responsibilities

• 0-2 years of experience in fiscal-related work or 4 years of relevant fiscal experience

• Strong analytical thinking abilities

• Proficient problem-solving skills

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team

• Strong communication skills

• Exceptional customer service abilities

• Familiarity with accounting practices, consolidated financial reporting, account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries
