Fire Protection Survey Technician – Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Frequently travel to client locations - often multiple days per week - either locally or overnight, utilizing car and/or plane, to carry out site surveys independently or alongside our Fire Protection and/or Field Services teams.

• Engage in design-related activities to assist our team in bringing design and construction projects from a defined concept to fruition.

• Collaborate with integrated, cross-disciplinary teams comprising designers, architects, and engineers.

• Acquire knowledge and experience in fire protection systems and fire protection design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (usually multiple days per week).

• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be capable of driving, traveling by air, and renting a vehicle without any restrictions.

• Previous experience in fire protection design, fire sprinkler design, fire alarm design, or field installation of fire protection systems is preferred.

• Previous experience conducting site surveys of fire protection systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with Revit is preferred.

• Previous experience with design projects in restaurants, retail, grocery, and/or healthcare settings is advantageous.
