Fire Alarm Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Interpret fire alarm and AOV drawings and specifications when necessary.

• Install, service, maintain, repair, and modify fire alarm and AOV systems.

• Execute complete system installations and upgrades.

• Conduct scheduled servicing and inspections.

• Exhibit proficiency with a diverse range of fire alarm control panels and equipment, including closed protocol systems.

• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and BS 5839 regulations in all work performed.

• Accurately complete all job reports and certifications utilizing the Oneserve application.

• Operate safely while adhering to current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards.

• Participate in and complete all training provided by the company.

• Engage in performance reviews, improvement initiatives, and appraisals.

• Collaborate effectively with office personnel and supervisors to address inquiries.

• Comply with company KPIs and operational standards.

• Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.

• FIA training and certification.

• FIA AO Level 3 in Fire Detection and Alarm Design Theory and Regulatory Requirements.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the fire safety sector.

• Full UK driving license (held for at least 12 months).
