Financing Analyst – Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate financing files and provide recommendations outlining the financing structure, follow-up conditions, and necessary guarantees.

• Conduct financial analysis of files for the non-retail client segment with moderate complexity, develop recommendations, and create financing packages.

• Carry out regular reviews of financing files.

• Adhere to existing policies, practices, and standards, as well as the regulations governing the distribution of financial products and services.

• Work closely with colleagues and partners involved in financing files.

• Serve as a resource for financing-related inquiries.

• Execute variable credit control as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• At least two years of pertinent experience.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.

• Capability to analyze market conditions and the external environment of the business centre.

• Competence in performing financial analysis.

• Awareness of the characteristics and credit risks associated with major markets: commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural.

• Understanding of business products and services offered by caisses, components, and Desjardins distribution networks, along with those of competitors.

• Knowledge of business financing and credit management principles.

• Comprehension of the philosophy and operations of a financial services cooperative.

• Familiarity with policies, legislation, and standards governing the products and services provided by the business centre.

• Awareness of government business assistance programs.

• Understanding of service standards.

• Insight into cooperative and network values, rules, and operations.
