Financial Technical Consultant, Oracle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp financial process requirements and convert them into Oracle Financial system solutions.

• Design, configure, and deploy Oracle Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).

• Conduct gap analysis and suggest best practices for enhancing financial processes.

• Oversee multi-currency Oracle Enterprise configurations and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.

• Develop, customize, and enhance Oracle Financial solutions utilizing PL/SQL, security configurations, and localization.

• Create and uphold technical documentation, such as solution designs, specifications, and test scripts.

• Develop and resolve interfaces between Oracle Financials and both Oracle and non-Oracle enterprise systems, including Dayforce and MAC-PAC.

• Manage production support tickets and prioritize implementations based on business feedback.

• Adhere to SDLC best practices, including change management, unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT coordination.

• Aid in the management of the business chart of accounts and cross-validation rules.

• Ensure that configurations align with corporate governance, audit, and regulatory standards.

• Generate custom reports using Oracle Reports or BI Publisher.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Oracle Financials as a Techno-Functional Consultant.

• 2 to 5 years of practical experience with Oracle Financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.

• In-depth knowledge of financial processes such as procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), and record-to-report (R2R).

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and OIC.

• Familiarity with Oracle APIs, interfaces, and data conversions.

• Solid understanding of Oracle cloud’s security framework.

• Strong grasp of financial accounting principles and reporting requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes, align technology solutions, and translate technical concepts into business language.

• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, maintaining a solution-focused mindset.

• Advanced oral English proficiency required for presentations to executive leadership and global technical teams.

• Proficient in oral Spanish.

• Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications are preferred.

• Experience with eInvoicing, especially with Avalara, is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants is preferred.
