Financial Reporting & Consolidation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume a pivotal role in preparing the monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).

• Execute group consolidation and eliminate intercompany profits.

• Assess posting logic and reconcile or clarify any discrepancies.

• Integrate insights into the monthly reporting for various management stakeholders.

• Assist with accounting-related matters and interim or partial financial statements.

• Take charge of additional areas such as transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, or process enhancements.

• Collaborate closely with subsidiaries and external auditors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in consolidated/group accounting.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and Excel, including macro programming (VBA).

• Proficiency in equity, liabilities, expenses, and revenue consolidation.

• Review posting logic and detect any deviations.

• Capacity to effectively communicate complex issues in both German and English.

• Independent management of transfer pricing, M&A, or process optimization projects.

• Strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills.
