Financial Reporting & Analysis Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the month-end closing process, which involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating precise financial statements.

• Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger.

• Perform variance analysis for both balance sheet and income statement accounts while investigating any discrepancies.

• Analyze contract language impacting Medicaid plans.

• Manage the processing of invoice payments.

• Support the collection of outstanding Medicaid settlements.

• Supply documentation and information for both internal and external audits.

• Engage in special projects and ad-hoc analyses within the controllership organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience working with large data sets and creating/maintaining complex spreadsheets.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, focusing on month-end close and analysis.

• Familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Sequel, or SAP.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering accurate and reliable work.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly summarize findings.
