This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Develop and oversee budget and financial forecasts, working in partnership with various departments to aid them in projecting performance and resource needs, while integrating data from multiple departments into a comprehensive financial model.
• Aggregate financial data and management accounts at the group level.
• Evaluate current and historical financial data (e.g., revenues, expenses, profitability, regional performance) and generate reports detailing the company’s financial status.
• Create presentations on the company's business and financial outcomes for key stakeholders, including accounting, management teams, various departments, investors, and the Board of Directors.
• Perform regular financial analyses and offer insights to facilitate management's decision-making process.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance and automate financial accounting, reporting, and control processes.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial controller role, consulting, or a similar position (experience in a start-up or e-commerce setting is preferred).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• An AI-driven approach, with hands-on experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude AI, Gemini, etc.) in everyday tasks to enhance efficiency and automate processes.
• Capability to proactively pinpoint deficiencies, take responsibility for creating solutions, and see them through to fruition.
• Ability to pinpoint and implement significant business enhancements by analyzing financial, business, and market data.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
• Solid business acumen, with the ability to connect the responsibilities and inputs of all organizational units to gain a detailed understanding of the business.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
