Financial Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete processing of client deposits and withdrawals, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining strong controls.

• Manage daily cash operations across various payment service providers (PSPs), banks, and currencies; enhance liquidity and optimize funding transfers.

• Create, automate, and assess daily/weekly cash flow, reconciliation, and profit & loss variance reports; provide insights and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.

• Supervise the reconciliation of client funds, trading platforms, and ledger balances; investigate and resolve discrepancies and exceptions.

• Ensure accurate balance tracking and collaborate with regional and global teams for handoffs and issue escalation.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly transaction forecasts; deliver analyses and recommendations to leadership.

• Execute and improve treasury workflows (sweeps, foreign exchange conversions, funding, fees), while documenting procedures and controls.

• Collaborate with Compliance/Finance on audits, payment risk monitoring, and financial controls; assist in updating policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Lead operational excellence initiatives (tooling, workflow automation, vendor/process evaluations) aimed at minimizing risk and reducing cycle times.

• Mentor junior team members; conduct quality reviews and act as the point of contact for complex operational issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial operations or treasury.

• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field).

• Advanced skills in Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and lookups); familiarity with SQL or business intelligence (BI) tools is advantageous.

• Strong proficiency in English communication is essential; knowledge of Mandarin is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Proven experience in financial operations within brokerage, foreign exchange (FX)/contracts for difference (CFD), fintech, payments, or similar environments.
