Financial Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our financial processes, safeguarding the financial well-being of our emerging clients.

• Support the daily processing of the firm's cash and security transfers pertaining to the firm's investment offerings.

• Daily and periodically monitor customer cash balances to detect any unusual changes, deficits, or surplus amounts.

• Collect vital data points from vendors to assist with daily operational activities.

• Work in partnership with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Risk teams to guarantee precise reporting and categorization of customer funds.

• Enhance and uphold documentation of internal control measures, ensuring transparency and compliance.

• Collaborate closely with the Investment Operations team to identify, investigate, and rectify discrepancies while improving current processes.

• Participate in special initiatives aimed at fostering continuous process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with WORM regulations regarding FinOp books and records.

• Team up with your manager and colleagues to set priorities, including the development of new features, infrastructure, and tool creation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0 to 1 year+ of professional experience in a financial services, FinTech, or highly regulated operational environment.

• Educational qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

• Strong analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail to guarantee precision in all operational procedures.

• Capability to swiftly learn and comprehend Broker-Dealer compliance standards, such as WORM (Write Once, Read Many), and financial record maintenance.

• A proactive mindset towards identifying potential challenges and offering solutions.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional groups and external partners.
