Financial Data Analyst – Wealth Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Ensure the precision, completeness, and uniformity of data extraction and aggregation for complex investment portfolio data utilizing proprietary aggregation software.

• Investigate and rectify inconsistencies and errors found in aggregated data across balances.

• Reconcile trading history with end-of-day holdings data, identifying account discrepancies and proposing potential solutions.

• Review reconciliation outputs and promptly escalate any aging exceptions.

• Contribute to the enhancement of internal systems aimed at achieving more efficient, accurate, and timely data aggregation.

• Develop tools and processes to enhance and scale data reconciliation efforts.

• Collaborate with the product team on new features, considering cost and process implications.

• Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data in alignment with regulatory standards.

• Act as an escalation point for Sales, Client Success, and Product teams regarding client data inquiries.

• Coordinate with custodian representatives to address deficiencies in financial data sources.

• Provide training and support to staff on data-related processes and systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Knowledge of Python and SQL is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with financial instruments across various asset classes.

• Willingness to engage with large data sets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• A proactive attitude towards workflow enhancements.

• Experience with Tableau, Trifacta, or other data wrangling tools is highly desirable.
