This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop unit economics at both merchant and product levels, along with net cash flow assessments for pricing, growth, and capital allocation decisions.
• Utilize SQL and extensive operational datasets to create data models, dashboards, and self-service reporting.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial review documents and perform ad-hoc analyses for executives.
• Track competitor activities and market performance, synthesizing the implications for the business.
• Aid in the development of quarterly Outlook forecasts and contribute to the annual budget and planning processes.
• Maintain components of the corporate forecasting model that address payment behaviors, delinquency rates, and charge-off metrics.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses and stress-test liquidity positions.
• Analyze variances in budgets and outlooks while communicating the underlying factors to senior leadership.
• Assist in managing asset-backed debt facilities, ensuring compliance with covenants, and handling borrowing base reporting, draws, and repayments.
• Prepare communications for investors and lenders, including portfolio analyses and materials for investor meetings.
• Create credit performance forecasts to guide funding strategies and capital planning initiatives.
• Investigate trends in capital markets, funding innovations, and peer strategies.
• Collaborate with teams in Risk, Accounting, Sales, and Operations on forecasts, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Enhance processes, automate workflows, and leverage modern tools, including AI, to improve the speed and accuracy of analyses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, data/business analytics, investment banking, capital markets, or analytics within financial services.
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Proficient in SQL with experience managing large, complex datasets.
• Ability to support multiple senior stakeholders while prioritizing competing workstreams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous challenges and shifting priorities.
• Preferred: experience in consumer finance, particularly in subprime or non-prime lending.
• Preferred: foundational knowledge of asset-backed lending, securitization, and debt capital markets.
• Preferred: experience with Python for financial analysis and forecasting.
• Preferred: familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau for building dashboards and tracking KPIs.
• Preferred: experience in utilizing AI tools to enhance analysis and reporting efficiency.
