Financial Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Execute monthly updates for recurring dashboards and reports that reflect the most current data and information.

• Assist with quarterly vendor data uploads into the internal database for Finance, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness.

• Develop follow-up reporting and establish a 'next action' process.

• Collaborate with various IDOC departments to improve workflow strategies and communicate any changes to processes.

• Discover opportunities to leverage data-driven insights for optimizing business performance and strategic initiatives.

• Regularly monitor data inputs from diverse sources (Microsoft SQL, Vendors, Datarails, etc.) and identify/correct any inaccuracies.

• Maintain the performance and integrity of data utilized across multiple communication channels.

• Identify quality assurance opportunities and create relevant documentation/processes to guarantee operational excellence.

• Assist with various ad hoc reporting requests: gathering requirements, collecting suitable data, generating appropriate outputs, deriving insights, and iterating with key stakeholders.

• Provide analytical support and expertise for higher-level organizational projects and initiatives as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience working with data.

• Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in Data Analysis, Accounting, or Finance).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Excel.

• Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tableau is preferred.

• Knowledge of Datarails, Adaptive, and Oracle Hyperion is a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL is advantageous.

• Financial analysis experience is a benefit.

• Ability to work independently.
