This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• In the role of Support Specialist — Financial Control and Accounting, you will serve as both a domain expert and a platform specialist.
• You will be the primary point of contact for clients who have selected Pennylane as their central software solution for accounting and financial management.
• Daily interactions with users will be part of your routine as you work to comprehend the challenges they face.
• After conducting investigations, your aim will be to provide answers or solutions to users, or escalate the issue to the technical teams when necessary.
• Additionally, you will assist company and firm accountants in importing their data into Pennylane to support their migration process.
• Joining the Pennylane Academy, you will receive continuous training on the product and the team’s procedures.
• You will acquire extensive knowledge about our company, our vision, and the various departments.
• Gaining autonomy, you will take full ownership of requests, ensuring thorough follow-up until tickets are completely resolved to ensure user satisfaction.
• You will become a product expert, contributing to the enhancement of your team’s efficiency by identifying areas for improvement.
• A background in accounting (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de Gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or Bachelor in Administrative and Accounting Management).
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm, ideally with exposure to at least three fiscal periods/cycles.
• Experience collaborating directly with company leadership is an advantage (e.g., internal advisory).
• A keen interest in innovative work tools and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work autonomously and tackle problems independently to find effective solutions.
• Familiarity with the Pennylane platform is a plus.
• Proficient level of English.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts clearly and professionally to users.
• Capability to understand and respond to client needs, delivering exceptional service and fostering strong client relationships.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in the product.
• Eagerness to learn and stay informed about product developments.
