Financial Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Manage and reconcile investment trading and cash transactions within the investment accounting system.

• Execute the valuation process and conduct associated controls.

• Prepare analysis of net investment income and generate management reports.

• Compile assigned investment disclosures according to STAT and GAAP standards.

• Generate designated investment regulatory reports, such as Schedule D.

• Support audit inquiries related to both GAAP and STAT frameworks.

• Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and company policies.

• Navigate the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders regarding deliverables and timelines.

• Identify potential enhancements for financial systems and reporting methodologies.

• Optimize processes through the use of automation.

• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to refine financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

• Maintain the integrity of data management and control considerations within financial reporting tools.

• Exercise sound judgment with appropriate pushback regarding reporting redundancies and consolidation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, data manipulation, and technology-driven process improvements.

• Proficiency in manipulating and rationalizing large datasets.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Capability to interpret and apply financial and analytical techniques effectively.

• Familiarity with ePAM is advantageous.
