This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Take full ownership of the end-to-end preparation for investor processes, which includes data rooms, pitch decks, financial models, teasers, and investment memos.
• Create and sustain high-quality materials for investors, ensuring strong narrative clarity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Develop and regularly update financial models that are utilized in discussions with investors (including three-statement models, DCF, scenario, and sensitivity analyses).
• Manage the fundraising process by overseeing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, managing investor CRM, and handling follow-ups.
• Assist leadership during investor meetings by preparing for Q&A sessions and facilitating post-meeting communications.
• Take charge of the company’s financial model, focusing on forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to construct bottom-up financial projections for new initiatives and business verticals.
• Compile monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the CFO, CEO, and board members.
• Monitor, analyze, and report critical business and financial KPIs, offering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Support strategic initiatives through analyses like market sizing, unit economics, competitor benchmarking, and business case modeling.
• Lead cross-functional finance projects with defined workplans, responsibility assignments, and timelines.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance analysis, automate reporting, and improve both the speed and quality of outputs.
• Must Have: 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or public equity research.
• Strong academic credentials from a top-tier university in Pakistan.
• Proficient financial modeling skills, including the capability to build three-statement models, DCFs, and LBOs from the ground up.
• Practical experience in preparing investor-facing materials such as pitch decks, teasers, investment memos, and data rooms.
• Strong project management abilities, capable of independently managing multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for simplifying complex ideas.
• Active engagement with AI tools to boost productivity and improve output quality.
• Experience in startup environments, high-growth companies, or VC-backed settings.
• Familiarity with the MENA/GCC markets and the investor landscape.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• CFA Level I (completed or currently in progress).
