Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards.

• Ensure meticulous maintenance of financial records and general ledger entries.

• Handle processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.

• Assist in coordinating payroll and managing financial documentation.

• Facilitate the month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Guarantee adherence to internal accounting protocols and financial policies.

• Keep financial documentation organized and ready for audits.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Detect trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.

• Aid in budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Develop financial dashboards and management reports.

• Support leadership in financial planning and strategic decision-making.

• Track KPIs and deliver actionable insights for business improvement.

• Assist with various ad-hoc financial analysis projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related positions.

• Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or comparable platforms.

• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High degree of attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
