Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Budget oversight: consolidate and track the budget and forecasts, conducting analyses of actuals in comparison with the budget, and assessing action plans suggested by the responsible departments to address any identified discrepancies.

• Profitability assessment: generate the monthly income statement (P&L) for each business unit and product, ensuring accurate calculation and tracking of contribution margins.

• Cash flow oversight: prepare and supervise the Cash Flow Statement (using both direct and indirect methods), monitoring liquidity, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and investments.

• Financial business intelligence: create and maintain management dashboards and financial KPIs (like EBITDA, ROIC, and liquidity), delivering analytical support for executive decision-making.

• Data and process integrity: identify inconsistencies within databases, assist in the standardization of information, and recommend continuous improvements for financial processes and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Controllership, or Industrial Engineering (postgraduate studies in the relevant field will be advantageous).

• Excel/Sheets (Advanced): Expertise in Apps Script, VBA, Macros, and financial modeling for scenario analysis.

• BI & ERP: Experience with Power BI/Tableau and familiarity with ERP systems.

• Cost management: Understanding of costing methodologies (ABC, Variable, Absorption) and cost allocation techniques.

• Financial mathematics: Proficiency in NPV, IRR, and amortization calculations (SAC/Price methods).
