Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Analyze financial and operational data to uncover trends, variances, risks, and potential areas for enhancement.

• Prepare regular and on-demand financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for executives.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning initiatives.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools.

• Leverage QuickBooks and related financial software to ensure reporting accuracy and monitor financial performance.

• Utilize Google Analytics, Gemini Analytics, and similar tools to assess operational performance metrics.

• Interpret data related to profitability, expenses, revenue, workforce utilization, and operational efficiency.

• Support the month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.

• Work collaboratively with leadership and departmental teams across functions.

• Assess financial models and reporting metrics to aid in organizational strategy.

• Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of financial and operational data.

• Identify opportunities for reporting automation and process enhancements.

• Adhere to organizational policies and reporting standards.

• Perform additional duties as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).

• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, business intelligence, or similar analytical roles.

• Must reside in or near Charleston, South Carolina.

• Proficient in QuickBooks, Power BI, Google Analytics, Gemini Analytics, or comparable accounting and analytics platforms.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote work setting.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience in healthcare staffing or healthcare operations.

• Familiarity with KPI tracking, forecasting, and operational analytics.

• Experience in reporting automation and system integrations.

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications.
