This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Prepare journal entries and manage GL accounts to ensure accurate information capture.
• Execute accruals, reconciliations, and monthly processing including allocations.
• Generate monthly expense reports for Department Heads.
• Reconcile necessary balance sheet accounts and submit them via Blackline.
• Evaluate inter-company accounts, including the acceptance and creation of AGIS and the clearing of inter-company balances.
• Provide the US team with required schedules in the appropriate format to support the monthly reported results.
• Oversee the company's cash position and review monthly cash forecasts for various entities.
• Monitor and adjust cash flow requirements as necessary.
• Review daily bank statements for the company and update balances for the US treasury team.
• Coordinate the submission and processing of invoices and payments with the AP team.
• Review and authorize payroll calculations before payment in line with current agreements and legislation.
• Complete and coordinate all statutory returns.
• Ensure that capital expenditure records and monthly schedules are current.
• Verify the accuracy of depreciation calculations.
• Assist in the timely filing of all tax returns.
• Utilize AVIAT's designated tax consultants to aid in the calculation and payment of required taxes.
• Ensure correct calculations, charging, and reporting of CIT, VAT, and WHT.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A qualification in accountancy and/or proven competence in a similar role.
• Professional Accounting qualification - CIMA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.
• 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a multinational setting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards across EMEA jurisdictions.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) along with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of VAT, corporate income tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
