Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in daily financial accounting and month-end procedures to guarantee prompt and precise reporting.

• Prepare and record journals, reconciliations, and adjustments for key accounts, including accruals and intercompany transactions.

• Aid in the creation of monthly management reports and variance analyses to facilitate informed business decisions.

• Detect inefficiencies, utilize automation tools, and enhance financial controls and operations through technology and AI to support our growth.

• Collaborate with non-finance departments to improve financial processes, assist in cash management, and provide additional financial insights.

• Play a role in developing a high-performance finance function that is proactive and adds value to the overall business.

• Provide support to our external accounting and tax providers to ensure compliance with Philippine tax and statutory requirements as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion).

• Prior experience in Big 4, private practice, or high-growth SaaS environments.

• Experience working in a multinational corporation.

• Strong grasp of Australian Accounting Standards and/or IFRS.

• Familiarity with process improvement, automation, or system implementations is advantageous.

• Proficient in advanced Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.

• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of accountability.

• You excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess natural problem-solving skills.
