This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Ensure that payments are accurately allocated to the appropriate accounts and correctly deposited.
• Establish automatic draft payments and respond to client inquiries via email and/or phone.
• Oversee all payments with a turnaround time of 48 hours.
• Communicate with law firms, collection agencies, and assist real estate agents through email and/or phone, while monitoring inboxes within a 24 to 48-hour timeframe.
• Manage overdue accounts within a Homeowner’s Association.
• Inform the law office about which accounts are currently in their care and withdraw those that have been closed.
• Collaborate with homeowners to develop payment plans.
• Maintain attention to detail and effectively address client concerns related to the timely closing of their homes.
• Support in sending documents, insurance details, and other miscellaneous items to the appropriate parties.
• Process billing, late fees, interest, exceptions, returns, and statements.
• High School Diploma - mandatory.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience - preferred.
• Adaptability: Demonstrates the ability to adjust to changing work demands.
