Finance Transformation Lead – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of the CARE framework throughout various practices.

• Assist in conducting client credit risk evaluations and reviewing deals.

• Encourage the consistent application of retainers and suitable payment terms.

• Facilitate the adoption of interest charges and protocols for stopping work.

• Aid in scaling CARE initiatives after initial pilot programs.

• Enhance financial discipline from the intake of engagements to their closure.

• Advocate for accuracy in billing, timely payments, and alignment with contracts.

• Monitor trends in receivable aging and payment behaviors.

• Track, assess, and report on the effectiveness of CARE initiatives and financial performance outcomes, utilizing insights for informed decision-making, escalation, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of experience in finance, commercial finance, or financial management in professional services.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Exceptional analytical, execution, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Proven track record in promoting the adoption of financial governance practices across teams.

• Demonstrated capability to influence behavior and facilitate adoption in a matrixed environment without direct authority.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Experience in consulting or project-based settings is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable, credit risk, or cash management is a plus.
