Finance & Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Supervise financial operations, coordinate payroll, manage vendors, audit shipments, and handle operational processes.

• Assess each shipment for accuracy in quotes and billing.

• Prepare weekly billing for shipments and process invoices.

• Execute full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.

• Oversee QuickBooks Online management, including reconciliations and transaction evaluations.

• Maintain regular communication with external accountants and financial stakeholders.

• Assist in quarterly tax preparation and year-end 1099 documentation.

• Administer weekly payroll functions utilizing Deel.

• Ensure compliance in payroll, manage tax withholdings, and adhere to state requirements effectively.

• Process new orders in accordance with established operational guidelines.

• Generate and oversee BOL numbers, PRO numbers, and carrier assignments.

• Foster relationships with vendors and manage communications with carriers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of advanced experience with QuickBooks Online, including reconciliations, AP/AR management, weekly invoicing, and financial tracking.

• More than 5 years of meticulous operations experience handling high volumes of shipments or products.

• Proven experience in managing U.S. payroll across multiple states.

• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, state registrations, and tax withholding requirements.

• Experience in managing company licenses, insurance renewals, and business compliance procedures.

• Extensive familiarity with Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.

• Excellent skills in operational documentation and SOP management.
