This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee comprehensive accounts receivable (AR) operations, encompassing invoicing, collections, aging analysis, and dispute resolution for IT/service-based billing frameworks.
• Guarantee accurate billing in accordance with timesheets, contracts, rate cards, and project milestones.
• Track AR aging and enhance collection efficiency to optimize cash flow.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and project teams to address billing and collection challenges.
• Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring prompt and precise financial closure.
• Manage journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal control measures.
• Assist in internal and external audits by supplying accurate documentation and explanations.
• Supervise timesheet tracking, validation, and approvals across various projects and resources.
• Maintain timesheet data integrity for precise billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with delivery and HR teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance compliance.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports, many of which are manual due to system constraints.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources for management reporting purposes.
• Create and sustain comprehensive Excel-based reports, trackers, and dashboards.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of reports to leadership.
• Extensive expertise in accounts receivable within IT organizations.
• Strong grasp of record-to-report (R2R) processes and financial closing cycles.
• Proficient Excel skills.
• Experience in environments that rely heavily on manual or Excel-based reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate across functions with sales, delivery, HR, and leadership teams.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
