Finance Manager, Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the region.

• Ensure that all reporting and transactional processing requirements for the region are accurate and completed in a timely manner.

• Close the books on a monthly basis; ensuring timeliness and accuracy while identifying risks and opportunities.

• Prepare variance analysis and collaborate with client services to guarantee that budgets and forecasts are met.

• Provide support to client services with ad hoc financial analyses.

• Assist in the development of quarterly business review presentations, including KPIs and various analytical reports.

• Collaborate with client services and corporate finance to recognize and mitigate financial risks.

• Work alongside client services and business development to identify and implement growth opportunities.

• Mentor and inform the account client services team on financial topics and relevant policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with client services, corporate finance, and legal teams on contractual matters.

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

• Occasional travel to customer locations to engage with site management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, Operational Finance, Commercial Finance, or related finance disciplines.

• Preferred experience in manufacturing, distribution, facilities services, industrial services, professional services, or other operationally intensive environments.

• Proven experience in supporting business leaders and clients as a finance business partner, delivering financial insights that drive operational and strategic decisions.

• Demonstrated capability in managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, month-end close activities, variance analysis, and business performance management.

• Experience in identifying business risks and opportunities while developing action plans to enhance financial and operational performance.

• Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes, general accounting principles, financial reporting, SOX compliance, internal controls, and other financial processes.
