Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Generate financial reports and evaluate financial data to assist upper management in decision-making.

• Perform financial analyses aimed at enhancing profits, optimizing expenses, and improving cash flow.

• Oversee the creation of project budgets and track their utilization to ensure they align with established plans.

• Examine costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales outcomes, and actual performance in relation to business objectives.

• Manage daily financial operations within the project, including processing payments, handling requests, and conducting other transactions.

• Assist in the registration of bank, EMI, and PSP accounts, including managing KYC procedures, compliance, and audits.

• Review existing financial systems and procedures to pinpoint areas for enhancement and automation.

• Introduce cost-saving strategies and boost operational efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with financial managers, treasury managers, financial controllers, legal teams, and product teams to refine processes and ensure seamless operations.

• Liaise with external partners, such as banks, financial institutions, advertising networks, and merchants as necessary.

• Investigate costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance against business plans.

• Identify opportunities for cost reductions.

• Prepare essential information for financial statements and audits.

• Provide information to potential investors and support due diligence as required.

• Complete ad hoc assignments and engage in special projects as necessary.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by upper management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields.

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in an IT company, Big4, or multinational consulting, audit, or FMCG sector.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and analytical tools (e.g., Power BI).

• Familiarity with IFRS and accounting principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured, data-driven approach.

• High attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to make informed business decisions.

• Capability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both written and oral English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

• Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable team player focused on continuous process improvement.

• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

• Experience in ERP system implementation.

• Experience in auditing would be an advantageous asset.
