Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the yearly budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities, incorporating scenario planning and sensitivity analyses.

• Create and deliver management reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for executive leadership.

• Conduct in-depth variance analysis (comparing budget to actuals and forecast to actuals) and pinpoint critical business drivers.

• Generate actionable insights and recommendations derived from financial and operational data.

• Construct financial models, forecasts, and various business scenarios to facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to gain insights on performance trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Utilize advanced Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization tools to automate and improve reporting processes.

• Assist leadership with ad-hoc analyses, strategic projects, and special initiatives.

• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data across reporting and planning activities.

• Maintain a solid understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, billing, and cost structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial planning, or business finance positions.

• An MBA in Finance is preferred.

• Experience in professional services, consulting, GCCs, or similar sectors is preferred.

• Strong hands-on expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas).

• Proficient in Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.

• Capability to analyze large datasets and convey clear financial narratives and insights.

• A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, revenue, billing, and financial statements.
