Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and refresh financial models and forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

• Monitor actual performance against forecasts in terms of revenue, expenditures, and cash flow.

• Proactively identify financial discrepancies and propose strategic measures to keep the business aligned with its goals.

• Take ownership of reporting essential metrics, including revenue, contribution margin, and cash position.

• Track daily and weekly sales performance in relation to set targets.

• Recognize and highlight risks to revenue objectives, working with the growth team to formulate mitigation strategies.

• Create dashboards and reporting tools to deliver real-time insights into business performance.

• Serve as the main liaison for the external accounting firm to oversee bookkeeping and month-end closing processes.

• Regularly review profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and clarity in financial reporting.

• Manage and oversee disciplined cash flow planning and administration.

• Coordinate and execute payments to various agencies, vendors, and inventory suppliers to prevent any missed payments.

• Optimize the timing of payments to ensure healthy liquidity.

• Collaborate with the Operations team on inventory management and payment timelines.

• Act as the central finance contact for all internal teams and external vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 6 years of professional experience in finance, FP&A, or a closely related field.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

• Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and forecasting (ability to create models that are both functional and impactful).

• Communication: Effective communicator capable of translating complex numerical information into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, a holistic perspective, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Language: Full proficiency in English.

• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
