Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for finance operations within both companies.

• Oversee and execute tasks including invoicing for multiple entities, bank and card reconciliations, accounts receivable and collections, as well as supplier payments and payment runs.

• Keep precise, organized, and current records in Xero.

• Manage transactions across multiple entities and currencies, including foreign exchange platforms like Airwallex or similar.

• Supervise payroll for an international workforce.

• Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, PAYG obligations, payroll, and statutory requirements.

• Generate management reporting packages that include: revenue by entity and key drivers, gross margin (especially for agency delivery), operating costs, and profitability.

• Develop and maintain ongoing cash flow forecasts.

• Serve as a finance partner to the founder by identifying client/project profitability and tracking SaaS revenue performance.

• Design and implement structured financial processes across both businesses.

⛳️ Requirements

• A qualified accountant (CA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).

• Over 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role.

• Strong proficiency with Xero.

• Experience working in multi-entity structures and multi-currency settings.

• A hands-on approach, comfortable with both execution and oversight.

• Excellent skills in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Highly desirable experience in agency or service-oriented businesses.

• Familiarity with SaaS or subscription-based revenue models.

• Experience managing offshore or outsourced finance support.

• Knowledge of Airwallex, Wise, or other foreign exchange platforms.
