Finance Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing accounts payable activities, which includes processing invoices, making vendor payments, and performing reconciliations to ensure payments are accurate and timely.

• Supervise accounts receivable functions, such as billing, collections, and customer account reconciliations, to enhance cash flow and reduce delinquencies.

• Support financial operations by aiding in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to uncover opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

• Engage in financial audits by preparing and supplying necessary documentation to relevant authorities, cooperating with auditors, and addressing any findings or recommendations from the audits.

• Assist periodically with financial and tax due diligence tasks.

• Offer ad hoc financial support and analysis as required to aid strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; candidates pursuing ACCA certification are preferred.

• 1 to 6+ months of experience in finance or accounting positions, particularly in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial operations.

• Proficient in using Zoho Books / QuickBooks Accounting software and Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Docs, and Presentations.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

• Experience in conducting financial audits and due diligence, along with the capacity to manage multiple projects at once, is considered a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to collaborate across departments and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
