Finance Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Reconcile payments and transactions to ensure the accounting system accurately reflects the current positions.

• Conduct all necessary general ledger reconciliations.

• Maintain precise records of all daily transactions utilizing the ERP system.

• Execute daily financial transactions including verification, calculation, and posting of accounts receivable data.

• Ensure that customer payouts are properly aligned with the client’s profile.

• Assist in the month-end performance reporting process.

• Support the accountant, external auditors, and tax consultants by ensuring the timely, organized, and accurate compilation of documents required for financial statements audits and/or tax audits.

• Ensure that all withholding tax, VAT, and other taxes are deducted and remitted to the relevant tax authorities on a monthly basis.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager from time to time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent university graduate, with or without NYSC experience.

• Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• Must be no older than 23 years on the last birthday.

• Demonstrates a strong interest in fintech and aspires to build a career in this area.
