Finance & Grants Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver specialized support in finance and grants management for the California business unit.

• Engage in essential areas such as financial analysis and reporting, financial management, accounting, auditing, and public grants administration.

• Collaborate closely with program teams and personnel at all levels, offering guidance, insights, and support to enhance conservation outcomes.

• Act as a vital resource for intricate financial and grants-related inquiries, utilizing sound judgment and extensive knowledge to address issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 4 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination).

• Proficiency in financial analysis tools, including spreadsheets, general ledger reporting, and financial management systems.

• Experience with grant accounting and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with U.S. Federal Uniform Guidance, as well as state and local regulations, and standard grant and contract requirements.

• Experience utilizing accounting and financial reporting systems.

• Knowledge of government regulations pertaining to grants and contracts.
