This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take charge of the company's financial planning cycle, which includes annual budgeting, monthly reforecasting, and projections for revenue, costs, and margins at the client level.
• Oversee the entire billing process, from contract review and billing model establishment to invoice generation, accounts receivable monitoring, and payment reconciliation.
• Supervise project finances, including budget setup, cost allocation, rate card management, margin calculations, and ongoing profitability evaluations.
• Manage accounts payable comprehensively, encompassing vendor validation, processing purchase requests, verifying invoices, categorizing expenses, and executing timely payments.
• Handle payroll and contractor payments by consolidating timesheets, calculating salaries, bonuses, commissions, and contractor fees, and executing payment runs.
• Lead the monthly financial closing process and prepare essential reports, such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements, KPI dashboards, and budget versus actual variance analysis.
• Collaborate with accountants to ensure accuracy in tax reporting and compliance with legal financial standards.
• Maintain the financial systems and operations by administering QuickBooks / TOConline, managing bank accounts, and ensuring that finance processes are documented and kept current.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role that encompasses both operational and analytical duties.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Practical experience with accounts receivable/accounts payable, invoicing, payroll, and contractor payments.
• Familiarity with project-level financial management, preferably within an IT services or agency setting.
• Proficient in using accounting systems such as QuickBooks, TOConline, or similar platforms.
• A structured and detail-oriented mindset accompanied by robust analytical skills.
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
