Finance Expert – Public Equities Analyst/PM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine finance assignments and processes for professional authenticity, clarity, completeness, and internal coherence.

• Evaluate if task inputs, assumptions, workflows, and anticipated outcomes accurately mirror real-world finance practices.

• Detect absent assumptions, vague instructions, unsupported requirements, impractical limitations, and significant edge cases.

• Assess whether tasks effectively measure professional finance competencies rather than just generic knowledge.

• Deliver concise, organized written feedback along with actionable suggestions to enhance task quality and realism.

• Confirm workflow logic and uphold consistent evaluation standards across the project.

• Work in conjunction with other finance specialists to guarantee high-quality evaluations throughout the sprint.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–9 years of pertinent experience for the Practitioner track, or 9–15 years for the Senior Reviewer track.

• Professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

• - Fundamental Equity Research

• - Asset Management

• - Hedge Funds

• - Public Markets Investing

• - Related Investment Research Roles

• Strong proficiency in:

• - Financial Statement Analysis

• - Financial Modeling

• - Forecasting

• - Valuation

• - Investment Decision-Making

• Outstanding written communication skills with the capacity to clarify both conclusions and supporting rationale.

• Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgment.

• Ability to assess work against established quality standards and offer objective feedback.

• Experience in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) or Semiconductor sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with conducting event-driven research or analyzing SEC filings is a plus.

• Previous experience reviewing analyst work, approving research, establishing quality standards, or designing review processes is also preferred.

• Knowledge of AI evaluation, data quality, or model assessment projects is a plus.
