Finance Editor – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will oversee current accounts, instant savings (Tagesgeld), fixed-term deposits (Festgeld), as well as brokers and custody accounts (depot) at reisetopia.

• Your daily tasks involve creating and enhancing high-quality financial content.

• Collaborating with our Finance Content Lead, you will aim to elevate our content to new heights.

• Strategically advance the specialized areas alongside a team of Finance Content Managers.

• Review and refine complex guides on financial subjects.

• Develop new content and enhance existing material related to financial topics.

• Innovatively implement and refresh recurring content.

• Share responsibility for the revenue growth and optimization in your area.

• Produce and evaluate short-term news and deals concerning financial products.

• Constantly enhance the quality of content on our website and the briefings for our social media team.

• Plan and execute projects aimed at the further development of financial themes.

• Assist and mentor other employees by sharing your knowledge and strategic insights.

• Conduct analyses and evaluations using Google Analytics to foster area development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant prior experience in finance, acquired through work in a financial editorial team, running a personal blog or social media channel, employment at a financial institution, or a related degree.

• A thorough understanding of the German market for financial products, particularly concerning current accounts, savings accounts, custody accounts, and brokers.

• A completed vocational training or university degree as a basis for the strategic advancement of projects.

• High resilience and the ability to perform effectively under pressure to quickly respond to short-term trends.

• Willingness to work in a shift system (primarily within standard working hours), including occasional rotating weekends and public holidays.

• Excellent proficiency in German and at least good command of English.

• Ideally, experience in editorial work or fundamental knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress.

• Preferably a strong interest in social media platforms and search trends within the finance sector.
