Finance Data & Analytics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Clearly articulate and implement the data and analytics vision to support Accounting, Finance, and other business teams as necessary, which includes the creation of the Accounting Data and Analytics roadmap.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Tax, and Treasury teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers, specific business processes, and analytics priorities.

• Conduct in-depth analyses of financial, customer, product, sales, and support data, and effectively communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Lead the initiative for the development and implementation of AI solutions within Finance to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Provide insights and actionable recommendations derived from reported results, benchmarks, identified patterns, and other relevant contexts.

• Drive and ensure the successful execution of data insight initiatives aligned with the roadmap by efficiently managing data analysts and collaborating with various stakeholders.

• Build a thorough understanding of essential data sources and data lineage within the organization and data warehouse, leveraging this knowledge to generate meaningful analytics outcomes.

• Support the enterprise data roadmap by overseeing the accounting function’s data model, data mart(s), user access, and the adoption of advanced analytics capabilities in alignment with the overall company data strategy.

• Facilitate discussions on best practices with the business, as needed, to enhance functional competencies and promote a data-driven culture, while continuously improving the quality, consistency, accessibility, and security of accounting data.

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-performing team of data analysts to foster functional and professional growth.

• Foster an engaging environment focused on continuous learning, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes and their reporting requirements.

• Previous experience in driving Data Strategy and Governance process adoption.

• Experience in managing a team, with an emphasis on team member development.

• Comprehensive understanding of how business processes generate data and how that data is aggregated and stored within a company’s ERP.

• Extensive experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau.

• Significant experience in data warehousing and modeling best practices using Snowflake.

• Proficient in advanced SQL and capable of performing complex modeling with large datasets.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business requirements into data and AI solutions.

• Familiarity with common finance applications such as NetSuite, Coupa, Salesforce, or ServiceNow.
