πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all ledgers in accordance with Group timelines and French statutory requirements.

β€’ Maintain high standards of general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets in compliance with French GAAP (PCG) and Group IFRS policies.

β€’ Oversee controls related to bank accounts and transaction processing.

β€’ Ensure precise revenue recognition and monitoring of project-based and recurring revenue streams.

β€’ Prepare and review VAT (TVA) returns while ensuring adherence to French tax regulations.

β€’ Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, notes) and tax filings (liasse fiscale).

β€’ Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).

β€’ Compile monthly reporting packs that include variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and clear commentary to support decision-making.

β€’ Ensure compliance with French accounting, tax, and social regulations (including corporate tax, VAT, URSSAF), aligned with Group policies.

β€’ Contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts, external audits, and Group reporting requirements.

β€’ Collaborate with local accounting teams (France & Finland) on daily operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, banking, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and expenses.

β€’ Monitor cash flow and liquidity, including short- and medium-term cash forecasting.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Approximately 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a French corporate or international setting.

β€’ Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.

β€’ Strong understanding of French accounting standards (PCG) and tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax).

β€’ Experience with accounting/ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus) and Microsoft Office tools.

β€’ Proven experience in managing month-end and year-end closings, including the preparation of statutory accounts.

β€’ Experience in an international environment with intercompany transactions and cross-border reporting is advantageous.

β€’ Strong attention to detail with the capability to prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation.

β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and control.

β€’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

β€’ Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
