• **About the Position**

• **Your Primary Focus** You will be responsible for the entire finance function, creating scalable systems, managing cash flow, enhancing profitability, and spearheading financial strategy to facilitate the next phase of growth for Hadley Designs.

• **Your Responsibilities**

• - Provide precise, audit-ready financial statements by the 20th of each month, ensuring full account reconciliation with no material errors.

• - Develop and sustain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updated weekly, to guarantee optimal liquidity and visibility.

• - Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all departments, maintaining a variance of ≤10% between forecasted and actual outcomes.

• - Create automated systems and workflows that decrease manual reporting time by at least 25% within your first year.

• - Collaborate with leadership to launch initiatives that enhance profitability and improve EBITDA by 2 percentage points within your first 12 months.

• - Formulate and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for closing, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting processes.

• - Introduce new systems for expense management, travel, and purchasing by Month 6.

• - Generate insightful financial dashboards and KPIs that facilitate better decision-making.

• - Work collaboratively across functions with Product, Sales, and Operations to synchronize growth, cash flow, and inventory planning.

• - Assess technology solutions (ERP, reporting tools) that prepare the company for scaling.

⛳️ Requirements

• **You Bring:**

• - A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA or CPA is highly preferred).

• - Over 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

• - Demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

• - Experience in implementing scalable systems and automation within expanding organizations.

• - Strong understanding of GAAP, compliance, and tax regulations.

• - Proficient with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets.

• - Exceptional analytical and communication abilities; capable of simplifying complexity.

• - Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail is preferred.

• - A collaborative mindset with the confidence to influence executive-level decisions.
