Finance Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Supervise the entire accounts payable process across various entities, including invoice management, approval workflows, and payment execution.

• Oversee vendor onboarding procedures, compliance verification, and payment confirmations.

• Track daily cash transactions, perform reconciliations, and manage funding flows.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis while identifying variances and offering financial insights.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on accounting, tax, and fund administration issues.

• Support activities related to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closures.

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP standards.

• Aid in investor-related processes, including capital calls, distributions, and reporting requirements.

• Work collaboratively with finance, operations, and investment teams on ongoing business initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.

• Over 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, private equity, or investment sectors.

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting practices.

• Proficient in accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and general ledger management.

• Advanced skills in Excel; familiarity with Yardi or similar accounting software is a plus.

• Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient English communication skills.

• Nice to Have: Experience in property accounting, fund accounting, or investor reporting.

• Exposure to treasury functions, cash management, or wire processing tasks.

• Experience working within international teams or global frameworks.
