This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Generate contracts and customer invoices in Workday based on new agreements received through HubSpot.
• Import bank statements into Workday and perform weekly reconciliations of bank accounts.
• Monitor supplier invoices, submit them in Workday, and process payments accordingly.
• Examine the AR Debtor report and reach out to clients regarding overdue invoices.
• Support the month-end closing workpapers as instructed by the Group Accountant.
• Review biweekly payroll adjustments for the US, submit for approval, and create the respective supplier invoice.
• Review biweekly payroll adjustments for Mexico, submit for approval, generate the supplier invoice, and add payments to BBVA for processing.
• Oversee daily operational tasks for the Mexico entity.
• Keep the Mexico team's vacation balance tracker updated and maintained.
• Supervise and manage both personal and accounting inboxes.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes as required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance operations, bookkeeping, or accounting coordination.
• Proficient in using accounting and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of payroll processing in the US and/or Mexico.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to handle multiple deadlines independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Experience in a multinational or multi-entity setting is a plus.
• Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel and familiar with CRM platforms.
