Finance and Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Maintain and update financial documentation, which includes ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations.

• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards in Singapore and the US (SFRS, US GAAP).

• File taxes in Singapore (GST, corporate tax) and provide support for US tax-related matters.

• Collaborate with outsourced accounting and compliance firms in both the US and Singapore to manage specialized tasks and ensure compliance.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights and uphold internal controls.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and cost-saving measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (CPA/ACCA is preferred).

• A minimum of three years of pertinent experience in accounting or finance.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) along with strong skills in Excel.

• Familiarity with US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Capability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
