Finance and Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, interpreting, summarizing, and uploading this information into financial systems.

• Prepare relevant presentations to support business decisions and facilitate communication with management, finance leadership, and the corporate office.

• Conduct complex financial analyses, including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling; develop and implement cost distribution methods, and review journal entries to fulfill business requirements.

• Monitor compliance with the approved budget at both division and department levels.

• Coordinate, compile, and present variance analyses along with conclusions to management on a monthly basis.

• Provide recommendations for financial planning to align with business needs.

• Analyze budgets, monthly forecasts, and other financial data, preparing presentations with recommendations for senior management and the corporate office regarding financial issues.

• Suggest process or procedural changes, including the creation of training documentation and presentations for other organizations.

• Ensure that processes and procedures are documented and regularly reviewed/updated.

• Offer guidance on process improvements and recommend changes that align with business tactics and strategies for the designated area of responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Five or more years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.

• Proficient in accounting principles and experienced with accounting software and databases.

• Familiarity with financial analysis is required.

• Must possess extensive experience with MS Excel, SAP, or various accounting tools.

• Experience with Anaplan and/or Power BI is considered an asset.
