Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute data entry and validation tasks across financial systems and spreadsheets.

• Provide assistance with general ledger (GL) entries and other accounting support activities as required.

• Facilitate monthly closing processes, which include reconciliations and preparation of reports.

• Create, maintain, and enhance Excel spreadsheets and financial models.

• Perform financial and operational data analysis to uncover trends and inconsistencies.

• Standardize and clean spreadsheets, reports, and datasets to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee timely and precise financial deliverables.

• Organize and prepare financial reports along with supporting documentation.

• Assist in maintaining precise financial records and files that are ready for audits.

• Contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

• Carry out additional finance and reporting-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Willingness to work overnight or graveyard shifts in Philippine time or during U.S. business hours.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, and financial reporting functions.

• Experience in building, maintaining, and analyzing spreadsheets and datasets.

• Familiarity with financial systems, ERP platforms, or accounting software is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.

• Experience in supporting month-end closing activities is a plus.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks.
